Bagda Chingri Curry is a spicy shrimp curry popular in coastal Bangladesh. The succulent black tiger shrimp absorbs the flavors of mustard oil, garlic, and fresh green chilies, resulting in a deliciously spicy dish perfect for lunch or dinner.

Instructions:

  1. Clean shrimp and marinate with salt and turmeric for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat mustard oil until hot, then add sliced onions.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, and chili powder. Fry until oil separates.
  4. Add shrimp and stir-fry for 5–6 minutes.
  5. Add ½ cup of warm water and cook covered for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve with plain rice or paratha.
